Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) es una agencia acreditadora institucional de gran importancia para la educación superior, ya que promueve la calidad académica, la integridad institucional y el mejoramiento continuo. Su propósito es evaluar y acreditar instituciones de acuerdo con estándares reconocidos, fortaleciendo la confianza pública y apoyando el compromiso con la excelencia y el éxito estudiantil. MSCHE está reconocida por el Consejo de Acreditación de Educación Superior (CHEA) para acreditar a las instituciones que otorgan títulos que ofrecen uno o más programas educativos postsecundarios de al menos un año académico. Al definir objetivos, estándares de acreditación equitativos, autoevaluaciones analíticas y revisiones objetivas por pares, MSCHE mide, verifica y promueve la calidad de las instituciones de educaciones de educación superior.

Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) is an institutional accrediting agency that performs an important role in higher education by promoting academic quality, institutional integrity, and continuous improvement. Its purpose is to evaluate and accredit institutions according to recognized standards, strengthening public trust and supporting a commitment to excellence and student success. MSCHE is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) to accredit degree-granting institutions that offer one or more postsecondary educational programs of at least one academic year. By defining objectives, equitable accreditation standards, analytical self-studies, and objective peer reviews, MSCHE measures, verifies, and promotes the quality of higher education institutions.

Submit Third Party Comments

 

Universidad de San Juan (USJ) is undergoing the review cycle for its reaffirmation of accreditation by the Middle States Commission of Higher Education (MSCHE or Commission). There is a scheduled MSCHE site visit for March 14 to 17, 2027.

As required by the Commission, USJ informs that MSCHE makes available the opportunity to submit Third Party Comments regarding the institution’s compliance with standards for accreditation, requirements of affiliation, policies, and procedures, and applicable federal regulatory requirements in accordance with the Commission’s Third-Party Comments for Institutions Under Review Policy. Comments must be sent, in English, to MSCHE before the scheduled site visit.
